In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (2018) the The Eastern Counties Bus Preservation Group CIO (the Group) will store any information supplied by you on file on a secure computer or in paper form in a secure location
The information will be your Title, Name, Address, Post Code, Telephone number(s) e-mail address(es) and bank account details (only where relevant in relation to the distribution of shop sale share). Your bank or credit card details will not be stored
This information is required in order to :
• Manage the nature of your enquiry
• Administer your membership of the Museum
• Advise of membership benefits
• Provide information considered to be of interest to you as a member of the Museum
• Communicate in respect of donation of items to the Museum archive
Your information will not be disclosed or sold to a third party other than to the HMRC for Museum Gift Aid claims, where you have completed a Gift Aid declaration in favour of the Museum
You have the right to:
• See your personal data held by the Museum
• Request amendment of any part of their personal data that is incorrect
• Request that your personal data be deleted or not used in certain ways
CCTV Images are collected and used to protect our assets and to detect criminal activity and shared if appropriate with law enforcement agencies
Personal data will be deleted from the Museum records when it is no longer required by the Museum for administrative purposes or to meet legal requirements (e.g. HMRC for Gift Aid) CCTV images will be deleted after 30 days

1. How and What Type of Information We Collect
Personally Identifiable Information refers to information that tells us specifically who you are, such as your name, email address, or phone number. Downloading information or logging in may allow the organisation to “recognize” you to allow us to personalize our service for you.
Your privacy is important and the information collected on submitting an enquiry is used solely for dealing with your enquiry.
Your details are never passed onto third parties nor used for marketing purposes etc..

• we will record your e-mail address for managing the nature of your enquiry, membership or online purchase
• we will only use your e-mail address for the purpose for which you provided it
• it will not be added to a mailing list, unless provided by you specifically for that purpose
• we will not use your e-mail address for any other purpose
• we will not disclose it without your consent.

2. What We Do With the Information We Collect
For our members and contacts, we use personal information mainly to provide the Services and contact our members/contacts regarding shop activities or other communications relevant to the Services. We do not sell or share any personally identifiable or other information of End Users to any third parties, except, of course, to the applicable members and contacts whose website you are using.
We use this information to manage membership, deal with orders via the museum shop, via the museum website and newsletter sign-ups.
When visiting this site, a record of your visit is logged. This “clickstream data” is recorded for statistical purposes only and is used to help improve this website. The following information is supplied by your browser (eg: Internet Explorer):
• the user’s server address
• the user’s operating system (for example Windows, MAC etc)
• the user’s top level domain name (for example .com, .gov, .org, .uk etc
• the date and time of the visit to the site
• the pages accessed and the documents downloaded

This information is used for statistical purposes only. No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities.

Your data is not shared with other individuals. Anomalysed data is used for statistical purposes, but you cannot be identified (see cookies above).
8. How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Your data is used to deal with your enquiry or purchase, with data held for as long as necessary, including accounting purposes.
